What is Jamberry?

Jamberry Nail Shields are the fool-proof way to get great-looking, long-lasting nails at a fraction of the cost of salon manicures.

They're nontoxic nail wraps that you apply right over your nails in your own home. They can also be used over acrylics and are perfect for growing out short nails too. The special material is pressure and heat activated to achieve a quick and easy manicure that you'd never get with polish.  The shields are made in the USA, non-toxic/latex-free, and never tested on animals.

Each set of wraps is Buy 3, Get 1 Free and comes with enough wraps to do your nails several times. I easily get 2 manicures and 1-2 pedicures out of each set. That makes each application just a few dollars. Plus, if you host a party, you can earn free and 1/2 off wraps!

I first learned about Jamberry on Facebook when a friend held an online party in November 2013. I was skeptical at first, but I thought it couldn't hurt to try. Besides, I was tired of only pinning awesome pictures of manicures that I could never make as good as the picture. (I have a hard enough time just painting my right hand!)

This is a picture of the first time I ever wore the Jamberry wraps. I put them on in the beginning of December and wore them almost until Christmas when my nails outgrew them.

First Jamberry Manicure

I love Jamberry wraps because:

They're easy to put on at home. It takes me about 20 minutes from start to finish using an orange stick and a blow dryer. Other people use a warm rice bag to apply the heat and pressure required to make them watertight against their nails.

They come in 300+ designs, in many colors, patterns, and finishes. They also come in junior sizes so you can match with your favorite kiddos. (Some people also use the junior sizes for their toes.)

They don't chip and there is no dry time. I can pause in the middle of applying them to get my toddler who woke up from a nap, or I can put them on right before running out the door. And my husband loves that they don't stink, unlike nail polish!

They are a good value. I don't have the time to do four coats of nail polish only to have it smudge or chip. I don't have the money to go to a salon for a manicure. Jamberry has made it possible for me to have cute nails easily and on a budget. I get compliments on them all the time too, which is always fun.

I decided to become an Independent Jamberry Consultant because I loved the product so much. After being a hostess for a Jamberry party with my friends, I saw how the wraps practically sold themselves. I learned that I could get the wraps at a discount and could earn some extra money, too. The money I earn from Jamberry sales will help supplement our income to pay for my husband's graduate school and for our second adoption. :)

If you'd like to give Jamberry wraps a try, leave a comment and I'll send you a free sample to see how easy they are and how much longer they last than nail polish!

Caring for your cuticles

OUR TWO NEW CUTICLE PENS GO HAND IN HAND It’s no coincidence that we released two cuticle pens at the same time. Not only did we want to give you the convenience of a pen, but both of these products used together help enhance the look and feel of your nails and cuticles. The new cuticle remover helps eliminate thick overgrown cuticles, while the oil softens the cuticles, allowing you to push them back easily with a cuticle pusher. This leaves the nails with an evenly rounded, more oval shape, and gives plenty of space for polish and the application of wraps or lacquer. Once applied, your nails will feel softer, smoother, and stronger. If you’re wondering how to use the new cuticle pens together, we’ve provided some step-by-step instructions below: Start with the Cuticle Remover Pen. Remove the cap, twist the bottom section 2-3 clicks or until you see the product start to saturate the brush. Apply generously over cuticles and let sit for 2-3 minutes. Gently push back cuticle...

How to Earn Free Jamberry Wraps by Being a Great Hostess

Get your free Jamberry nail wraps by hosting a party with me! Request a date that works for you at my website, monika.jamberrynails.net/host/ I've been to my share of parties this year and had a great time with my friends. I knew I'd be asked to buy something in the end, but appreciated that the consultants were low pressure and focused more on their love of the product and the party goers enjoying each others' company. That's the kind of party that I host - we play games, I talk about Jamberry, I offer special deals, and we chat about whatever else comes up. :) And yes, this is all done via Facebook! If you're interested in hosting a party and earning free things, I will coach you through how to have a successful party. We'll make the party fit you and your friends. It can last a few days, or be a one hour "flash" party one evening or Saturday morning. Here's the basic anatomy of a Facebook Jamberry Party: I set up the online party on F...
